About Dr. Molly Towell

The Molly Towell Perinatal Research Foundation was created in 1988 through a bequest from the estate of Dr. Molly Towell who was a physician and research pioneer in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Towell's remarkable career was described by one of her closest friends and colleagues, Dr. Fred Bryans, in an article published in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Canada in 2001. In his words, Dr. Bryans captures Molly's spirit of adventure, commitment and generosity regarding her professional and personal life. The text of the article, with permission of the publisher, is reprinted below.
